What happens when music leaves the concert hall and play flows out of the field, the board or the screen? How can you listen to a public place with new ears - or transform it into something else through play? How does the city become an instrument of play?
As one of four focus teams, the composer David Helbich, the game designer Holly Gramazio and the architect Rosario Talevi are working on a format where the festival audience, random passers-by and regulars connect connect to each other and with the urban environment around Alte Oper in a new way.
